attorneys focus on employment law. Individuals whose rights have been violated

Associates' experience, approach, and integrity. Founder Kevin Betz has
worked for more than 15 years as a litigator. He knows well this competitive
arena. Our firm is engaged to represent individuals in employment law cases
covering a gamut of issues, including wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes,
employment discrimination (such as age and race, as well as sexual harassment),
employment contracts, whistleblower litigation, covenants not to compete, and

jurisdictions from acting unfairly against individuals. Betz & Associates

Appeals are a natural part of the legal process and a
distinct area of focus of Betz & Associates. Because of Kevin Betz's
background in appellate law and his authorship of law reviews concerning the
voting and disposition of Indiana Supreme Court cases, he is frequently asked
to assist other law firms in pursuing appeals. He also worked for two years at
the Indiana Supreme Court. If the need arises and engaged to do so, all Betz
clients receive the benefit of the firm's appellate law skills.
Business and commercial law is often closely related to the
field of employment law. Our business and commercial law practice largely
involves contract disputes and shareholder litigation, as well as other
business disputes.
As part of our complement of legal services in employment
law, Betz & Associates offers representation in class action suits. Most
recently, our firm has been involved in an ERISA (Employee Retirement Income
Security Act) class action as well as a wage and hour dispute class action.
Kevin Betz's previous experience as Chief Counsel for the
Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) makes him uniquely
qualified to represent individuals who have experienced environmental
contamination of their property by another party. Additionally, Betz &
Associates provides legal counsel to corporations such as Verizon Wireless,
giving guidance and opinions on property acquisition in light of environmental
contamination risks and assessing liability potential.
